According to Autometer it is the same. But according to the Nordskog and Home Depot fitting....they aren't the same. I are confused.

I'll just try it out and see how it goes. Doesn't seem to be an issue with Sam or Jomar, so I am not too worried.

 

Is Nordskog a european manufacturer? This could be a long shot but their standards in sizing may not be quite like ours. Correct me if i'm wrong but did you say you went to HD and sized up the thread measurments? If so then all you need is to find a fitting with the same thread size. Maybe they have some brass ones in the plumbing section???

When it comes to monitoring your fuel i wouldn't rely on affro engineering, especially if you will be running on the edge. I just can't see how 2 turns on the threads is going to be safe, that's not to say it wouldn't work though. I just wouldn't want to have to worry about it that's all.



So now what? Does anyone know what size fitting can be threaded over the stock Schrader valve? What I am thinking of doing is removing the pin, effectively allowing fuel to flow freely through the valve. So if I can find something to thread over the Schrader valve, and allow a 1/8" fitting to screw onto it...I think I may be set.-------I bet there is something in the plumbing section that will work.
