Thinking about letting the Cobra go.
Keep the car. If you keep swithcing every few years you will never have the car where you want it to be. And for gods sake don't lease. Leasing always costs more on the backside than what you expect and to top it off you never own the vehicle. Pick up a cheap used S10 or Ranger to use as a daily driver. They are good on gass and you have a truck bed to haul stuff in.

Figuring in the higher payments of leasing a 2003 cobra, and the large down payment I put down, I would have saved $5,000 if I leased it for 24 months. I have owned 3 brand new cars in the past 5 years. I could have saved about 15k figuring in higher monthly payments for 24 month leases.
I dont regret anything though, love the freaken car, but the car isnt my priority in life right now.

Leasing is for sure the best route to go if you trade out in three years or less on a regular basis. Plus think about cars in the past you have had a regular loan on, say you keep it for 5 years when the time comes to get a new car your old car car usually has a tons of miles, needs some sort of work, and is not worth jack shit.
I leased my wife's last car and it was our first lease. The payment was $238 a month with about $1k down. And it was a fully loaded Taurus SEL V6. When it was time to get another car I drove back to the dealer gave them the keys and went and got another car, no hassles.

Eh...you lose your ass either way with cars. Best thing to do is buy used and run it into the ground. My main problem with lease agreements is the limited mileage. If you do alot of driving, that overage fee is going to anally ravage you when you turn the car in (unless you plan on buying it out).

When you figure out a price, let me know. I'm in the market for another cobra and having an 03' would be sweet. My bank will finance me for the lowest % possible right now because it's such a new car. I think it's somewhere around 3.75% and that would keep the payment manageable. Pm me when you figure out a price.
Thanks!
Thanks!
