Yes they will fit the rim.

Well, I got a tire to fit no problem the tire I'm asking about is a drag radial, and the only make size specific tires. But thanks again for your input BRO! what year mustang? The rim is plenty wide to fit that tire if your asking that, but you may have some clearance issues.

If it is not lowered you shouldnt have any issues at all depending on the offset of the rims. I have 31535r17s on cobra R's on my 98 which is lower 1.5in. and it only rubs when I am turning up a steep incline for example pulling in to some gas stations my tire rubs.

 

Mine is also lowered the same amount 1.5 There is no rubbing when normal driveing is there
