tire question

Default tire question

I just ordered some 17X10.5's for the rear of my car, is a 315/35 going to fit that, because that is all that nitto makes in the size that I need

Well, I got a tire to fit no problem the tire I'm asking about is a drag radial, and the only make size specific tires. But thanks again for your input BRO! Hey why are even posting in here if you are are such a die hard chevy guy "sending ponies to the glue since 1969" That BS about you not trying to be dick, save it and just do all the ford owners a favor in post your garage ass input in your GM forum.

what year mustang? The rim is plenty wide to fit that tire if your asking that, but you may have some clearance issues.

If it is not lowered you shouldnt have any issues at all depending on the offset of the rims. I have 31535r17s on cobra R's on my 98 which is lower 1.5in. and it only rubs when I am turning up a steep incline for example pulling in to some gas stations my tire rubs.

Mine is also lowered the same amount 1.5 There is no rubbing when normal driveing is there
