Just picked me up some junkyard tires yesterday, because the kumhos were showing belts. They are going to get me by until I get some good tires on there. Well I decided to break them in at the 1/8th mile in lakeland today. Those things have to be the shittiest traction tires evar! They are H rated traction A temp A with a 320 treadwear. I thought hey, not bad actualyl supposedly softer than the kumho's I have on. To my demis they weren't even close

I was running about a second slower than I normally do. Good RT's in the 500 -600 range mostly had one bad one at .837 but overallt RT's were good. Speed was about right at 66-70mph. You could really tell in the 2.5-2.7 60 ft's which are normally 2.3 or less. I NEVER spun in second or thrid on the kumho's they just hooked and went. These new ones are spin spin spin launch spin spin spin second spin third then the end of the 1/8th about a second after i shift to 3rd. Bleh, won't be going to the track for a while until I get my new tires


Oh yeah I normally run about a 10.2-10.5 I was running a 10.89 to 11.3's tonight *Sighs*

Just had to vent heheh most annoying. Still was fun though alot of quick cars and cool people as usual. Even saw MR2GRL from this site there with her BF raced her twice I lost twice bleh

That was you I raced? Thats cool that you were out there though. But BTW I dont have a BF... I go out there to Lakeland because its near my house, and I usually bring out one of my guy friends...but nope...no BF.

I'll be out at Lakeland for the next 2 weeks, but then I wont be out there again for about a month b/c my car will be gone.

MR2GRL, my friend Tim was out there and that really tall skinny guy that was talking to you in line was my friend ben i told them both you had a bf lol probably a good thing But you were running nice gotta work on those RT's your 60ft is pretty decent though, about the same as mine with traction bleh. I looked at my tires at school the day after the track and there was this gooey shit all over them and the fenders, my friend Tim had the same stuff on his car, so somewhere around the track there's a nasty bit of something

 

Nope he isnt my bf, but he is my best friend. =) and my personal mechanic =)..awesome guy either way... And I didnt notice anything on my tires. One of my RT that night was .52 =)...and the rest were around .67...so its not too bad =)... and I will be out at Lakeland this Thur and next thur for sure! hope to see you there.
