Default engine burning oil

ok here is the problem, in early 2003 i went to blue oval and had thm put a new engine in my car, so i went ahead and went with the PI head swap to make the most out of my 4.6L. so anyways i finally got it put in and it was running strong as hell, but i noticed it was burning oil. approx. 1 1/2 quarts per 3000 miles and then just one night it decided to spin a bearing so anyways i told the guys about and they said " a moddified engine like that will use engine oil, its normal" so then like 1 week slater is when it spun the bearing, now im having to put new rods and rebuild again after only about 5000 miles of use. so now is that true? will an engine like mine burn oil??? also if this happens again i dunno what im gonna do cause i'm dead broke now after shelling out $4000 for new internals and shit. so if it does happen again the only thing i can do is try and get my money back from blue oval the legal way...........

please give me some advise fella's

I sounds like your engine wasn't new.

Then again you ARE dealing with Blue Oval.

dont deal with BOC

you shouldnt use more oil then a normal engine would, exspecially with new rings.

man your dreaming, if I had a dollar for every time I have heard about someone getting screwed by Blue Oval I'd be rich, I can guarantee you that you'll never see a shiny penny from those guys. People have spent 10 times what you have with the same outcome and ended up with dick so I wouldn't hold my breath. Your best bet would be to go to a shop that has a good reputation (like Coastal or Fordspeed) and cut your losses.
