yeah, this isnt sumthin that i was looking to get. just one of my boys wants to get rid of it, so i was thinking about picking it up. i can never have too many toys. so i got the idea quick to have a turbo'd escort. im still waiting for him to get back to me on the info for the vehicle. all i know is its a 94 with a manual transmission. i'm more of an import guy personally, but this seems to be sumthin fun to play with. i was just wondering what kind of expenses and work i should expect to do this project before i even began it. all the help i've recieved is greatly appreciated. as for the answer to what i want out of it, im not going for sumthin that snaps axles like twigs. i just want sumthin that will screw with peoples minds, and to see an escort pull up with the sound fo a turbo spooling up under the hood does a good job.

 

Kepp the 1.9 that's most likely in it drop on the turbo 1.6 manifold with a stock turbo spool'n around 6-7PSI will hold easily on that bottom end. They can hold about 10PSI on stock bottom ends with copper gaskets.
