Default Breathers. Good or bad?

Read this thread and tell what you think. I'm on the fence on this one. What would be the best thing to do on a N/A motor. Thanks.

Sounds like BS to me. The major reason given was that if you used breathers and didn't change your oil regularly, you engine would wear out prematurely. I would suggest that if you don't change your oil regularly your engine will wear out prematurely anyway.

OTOH, my engines never die a natural death anyway. I've never worn one out in my life. Mine always die a violent death before they reach retirement age.

Keep the PCV and run the vacuum line to a oil catch can w/breather instead of back into the intake manifold. Everything functions as it should but no oil gunking up the mani or leaking from the breathers onto your headers and whatnot.

Hey, I've got a few years left before retirement age. Still plenty of time to blow a gasket.

fordman + electronics.... now THAT is funny....
