Well I have a cleaned and machined block and head. But not much else. Now I'm really debating even doing the turbo application.

I'm really pondering doing a PZEV swap with the transmission. It would not only be fun, but the aftermarket is going to be wide open for that motor. The Stock ZX3's are running mid low 15's and with some slicks and an intake Focus-Central.com got theirs to a 14.8 :o

Dyno's are somewhere in the 130's to the ground in horsepower and 140's in torque on a base motor. Focus-Central has a 142 horsepower 157 torque dyno. These numbers are more and more impressive every day.

Problem is I have invested quite a few hundred bones already. Ohh the decisions to make! And yes PZEV's are showing up in the junkyards on car-parts.com already for around $600.

I think I may go turbo for now then swap later or go buy another escort and swap it into that Not like my car is expensive or anything.

Actually...if you are seriously interested in doing some sort of swap. Greentree had a complete SVT Focus motor w/drivetrain and ECU for only $3k. Not a bad deal considering you could part it out and actually make money on it.
