Mine never did... drove it for almost a year like that. Finally once I had the 1-2 grind going, I took it in to have it fixed. Mine only popped out of gear when I was in reverse though...

i agree with others, might check the shift fork. could be bent and not engaging everything fully.

Zate he has a T-45 and yes it might be a shift fork but hey don't worrie about it till it starts 2 get stuck in gear while your racing.thats when you really have 2 worrie.the first time my tranny got stuck in gear I almost shited my pants because i though my mom was gonna kick my ass. oh hey will if ya want me to get some good time out of your car let me know i'll hook it up like nobody can

He has a T45, not a 3650. Sounds like a bent shift fork....or forks I should say. 1st/2nd share one fork and 3rd/4th share one fork.

Sounds like the same thing my t5 does and I was told it is a shift fork. It comes from hard shifting with a stock shifter. So I just put on a pro 5.0 and called it a day
