The 1.6 and 1.9 have the same bore and stroke as my car, just different intake/exhaust ports.

i would goto a SVT dealership or maybe a website and ask them what cams are compatable, possibly even the new zx3 would be better than what you got right now.

 

SVT never made anything for the SPI motor, which is now not in production anymore. My car is a SOHC all the 4 cyl motors ford makes now are DOHC. I can't even get Ford motorsport wires for my car They phased those out last year.
