The Ford Escort has been around as long as the Mustangs have.
I know someone in Ft. Lauderdale that has a 'scort that would eat your cobra for an afternoon snack
Something around 545 whp or something
I am not going to banter about the eligibility of my car though. If you want that bring it to the tells or another thread
Back on topic! *rawr*

WHy would you only want to watch street cara race vs an 8 sec car? Ok i'm biased but, I guess when you know what is involved to go that fast vs. just looking at it from a spectators point of view, there tends to be more appreciation...
FFW puts on a good show, never had any problems (minor BS that was handled). Klass can be a prick, but he's alright for the most part.. I enjoy the FFW shows vs. the NMRA, I think they just put on a better event, but that's only my opinion...
One thing I don't like about FFW is how frequently and how much they change their restrictions on the classes.. makes it hard for the average joe like me to have a chance, but then again.. I built my car to have fun with...

The Ford Escort has not been around in the US for nearly as long as the Mustang:
[useless factoid]
The Ford Escort debuted in the US in 1981 and was dubbed a "world car". 1981 isn't even close to the date the Mustang hit the production line.
