Default Salvage yards

I'm starting to search for donor parts for the FF Cobra project.

Been looking around at salvage yards and am not having exactly great luck....

Anybody know of any salvage yards that have a decent number of 87-93 fox bodies?

(or any that has a supercoupe? I need the IRS clip)

co parts.com is a HUGE salvage yard, and it's located in Riverview.. I am sure they would let you rummage around in there.

I'm not going the full donor route anymore. I'm starting with a spec racer chassis and IRS. The spec racer comes with all the tubular suspension goodies and coilovers as well a flaming river manual rack and things like that. I'm doing a new TKO with midshift kit in it, so in reality what I need is engine, wiring harnesses and the rear out of a supercoupe (which I'm doing mustang IRS hubs, spindles and brakes on). Front brakes are gonna be SN95 with SN95 spindles.

It's gonna be too much of a frankenstein to bother with a donor car and I don't think I'd have it any other way. There's too few good foxbody's running around to scrap another.

Why not just buy a CCM gt40p longblock?

And then just go with an SDS DFI and get the whole harness with it.

Everything would be new and wouldn't be too much more than scrounging.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

SC is preferred because it is 8.8, 3.27 and traction lock.

Some are not Tracton Lock. Some are 2.73. and some are 7.5!!!

Need ALL the wiring harnesses from the car. Dash, rear, engine...

It's either that or I go the painless harness route.

I dont' know about the aftermarket computer... I'll have to check the scca rulebook for that one....

The whole engine wiring part scares me more than anything else...

After getting all the wiring for my swap, it would have been easyer for me or anyone to go the Painless route. You wont have to worry about bad wires, connections, etc.
