stock 03s run high 12s with a good driver, dont forget almost all of the ppl that have one are twice my age

 

All an '03 needs to run low 12's is a solid axle. The 110-112 mph's are good for at least 12.3 with a good 60'.

 

He was afraid that parts were going to start flying off of it as you went down the track!

 

sh*t the stock cobras on nittos couldn't run 13.0's but some of the modded 1's were in the low 13's. all these bad drivers in cobra makes me sad bad drivers should only be able 2 own vans

 

Shit, my car went 13.2 stock. Give me a stock '03, I'll bet I can get better than a 13.2 with it, IRS or not.

 

Yeah it gave us alot of laughs. 03 cobras seem to be slow at the track. They dont even have a good mph either.

 

Who in their right mind would try and run a fast time on a Friday night. Total mayhem, no track prep, no water... I was there Thursday night and ran pretty good. Friday night the track got so bad that they warned anyone that had a fast car that they would NOT get traction and advised against making more passes.

 

This is really funny, you guys see a couple 03's runnin slow on a bad track, so then they all suck? Give me a break, I have yet to run mine, but I have over 600 1/4 mi pass's under my belt and several track championships and am smart enough to realize whats up... Hey Terry, 11's on a good track with a few good bolt on's, am I wrong? and thats with the IRS that spanks my Mach 1 out of the hole like its standing still !!! Some people just dont get it....

 

I never post times, everybody on here knows how fast ALL these cars are because of what a few run. I would much rather someone thinks that my car runs 13's, it adds to the look on their face when my 13 second car blows by their ride. Craig, how you liking the Mach? Did you figure out what you are doing for a tune yet?

 

The Mach is a great car, fastest Naturally Asperated STOCK Stang I have owned, has more of a "boy racer" feel to it than the more refined Cobra, and yes I have the tune figured out, will have both cars at the track the 10th and one other track day I have signed up for. These cars make me forget about my old 5.0's real quick...hehehe...
