Miles on 2.3L
Miles on 2.3L
Just got myself an uberclean 87' 4 banger coupe. Runs great, and got a sweet deal on it. The only thing... its got 110k miles... It smokes a little bit, which im gathering is just bad seals, but other than that, it runs strong. Anyone wanna tell me what to expect with this motor? Thx
make sure you check the oil sump in the oil pan they like to get clogged with gasket material and spin main bearings

Starter solenoid is a common problem it's a cheap replacement part though when it goes out! My GF has an 89 2.3 with 135k on it, runs strong no smoke. She got it for $300 from a person who just didn't take care of it. A few electrical nightmares later and some tuning and it's a decent almost 30mpg car
