I wouldn't be surprised if he meant that "completely stock motor" bit. The turbo 4 cyl guys see no problem with doubling their power output on a stock motor, why should the guys with the equally potent 8 cylinder FI factory cars?

 

I like it, but it is gonna foul up somehow. I love Mustangs to death, but know them too well. Pick a nice color, stick with it. I don't need no purple numbers, thanks.

 

phatstang - nope I mean stock as in stock. StrictlyPro siad they made nearly 800rwhp and maxed out the torque on the dyno rated for 1200 with the KB blower and nitrous. And they still have not even taken off a valve cover yet. Stock long block. Stock block,rods,piston,heads,cams,crank. . .everything! Just wait until the L&M cams come out, they claim 50-225hp.

 

Oh, they were still using a blower? Shoot, hasn't anybody converted to a big single turbo yet? That's when the numbers should be really interesting.

 

X2C motorsports put on a turbo (and took off the blower obviously) they reported 735rwhp@20psi with no nitrous. They have made the most power on a stock cobra with no nitrous. They are currently swapping to a bigger T-88 turbo and shooting for the 1,000 mark.

 

It's cool, I like it.

 

 

Lol, me too! ProCharger is also coming out with a kit for the 03 cobra. I will put up a thread about it.
