Gimmick. How about some real Autometer or VDO gauges, that would be something. Changing the color of the instrument lights is great for women that want the interior to coordinate with their nail polish.

Different color interior lights...kick ass!! I'm sold. That's the first thing I looked at when I bought both of my Mustangs. Had to make sure the interior lights were a nice color.

btw.. a "Bad Ass" feature would be cars that dont fall apart, transmissions/clutches that arent craptacular.
i like my ford.. but its worlds away from alot of other car manufactureers.. and i think Ford is in for a rude shock in the next few years.

What are you comparing your Mach too ?
Cars that fall apart ? Your tranny gave you problems of which you never addressed so what are the other problems ?
It is give and take with all car companies. Heck look at what they make the WRX's out of. It sounds like you are getting in and out of a tin can when you open / shut the doors.
GM's have god awful fit and finsh.
Dodge can't build a motor that does not puff blue smoke a few years later.
Etc., etc.
I am not implying that Ford is going to turn things around with this new light feature but it shows they are trying to be innovative.
It is not there (Fo Mo Co) fault that jackoff of a CEO (Jaques Nasser) ran the company into the ground trying to branch out into the mortgage, financial business and fucked the auto portion of the company up in the process . Now that he has been gone for a few years the recalls on their products have slowed a bunch, the new F-150 is doing well, and I am willing to bet the next gen Mustang is a huge success.

I like what ford has done with there cars and trucks. They like trying new things unlike others , taking chances and seeing what ppl like.I mean come on if ford wasnt all in it for the people you think they would of made your mach 1 out of the blue? I doubt it I think it was consumer demand , They have pretty much made a new edge for cars comming out.I like seeing every new car they make unlike others , ford seems to be game for what people want and like.Think of this they made probbly one of the first sport truck THAT IS SPORTY with a motor that hauls ass looks good and loves the street. They havent quit un like the camaro , also notice they keep making their cars with higher hp unlike others.The warrenty ish for them isnt so bad at all I have heard of them replacing motors that were blown up from nitrous or from someone putting to small of a pulley on there supercharger.I think they like seeing the abuse there motors can handle and I think it motivates them to make there cars quicker when ther see people blowing up there cars because they want more power.Once again its somthing people demand notice cobra motors hp levels have massively increased. I think they have done alot in the auto biz by making a statement saying they wanna be the best performance company and customer wanted company.
