Default 12s in a GT?

We ran into a couple mustang boys down in Clearwater this past weekend, two 5.slows and a silver GT. the kid who owned the stock looking GT with a couple A-pillar gauges said he estimated a 12.5 second quarter mile (no forced inbduction, nitrous r built motor) on good engine managment and bolt ons. I didnt have time for it then but if anyone knows him id love to run him in the 325...

Depends what you would consider a bolt on, but with a nice gear alone like a 4.10, it would turn around a 13.5 just with a gear as long as it's a 5spd so i'd say a 12.5 isn't out of question, if you start with an auto, it's a little harder.

My 5.Slow is stock with a single bolt on, but I have seen them with twin bolt ons.

Actually 11's are possible. Again, possible, not probable - this guy knows how to drive and his suspension is setup perfect. He also competes in the modular shootout.
