Ford Excursion runs 7.52@86mph

One of the guys on BON sold his Mustang and purchased a Turbo diesel Excursion. They've done some extrensive tuning with a chip, slapped on a 4" exhaust, made a few changes to the tranny and it blasted the 1/8 mile last night with a 1.72 60ft. and a 7.52 @ 86mph.

Figure if he can keep going that should be a high 11 or low 12 in the 105-107 range. Thats just plain scary to have 5500+ lbs. moving that quick.

Great find.

And I think the Excursion actually weighs around 7,000 lbs..

You would be correct 7197lbs. Holly cow! Of course they said the torque is nearing the 1100 ft. lbs range.
