Been driving past Tropical Ford the last couple off nights while going out to dinner and decided to stop in last night to look at the cars they had on the lot.

They had a handful off Cobras and about the same in Mach I's

I looked specifically at the 2003 Ann. Edition...they had a silver coupe with black leather interior inset with red (BLECH!).

I think I'll just wait for the 2006

I'm really starting to not like this Tablet PC...being without a Keyboard and having to write everything sucks !

I test drove the 03 cobra the other day. WOW what a rush. I have the pre-approval, now all I need is to sell my car on ebay. Time to drive something with real HP.
I never droe in a car that had so much torque that I felt my eyes actually sink into my skull. I have kept a very open mind for my next car, 350z, rx8 and g35, but the power in the Cobra is just nuts. I will probably get the Ann. edition with the two tone seats. SOMEONE BUY MY CAR!!!

I'm getting one too. I also am waiting on selling my 2000 Saleen before I can get one. I want a Saleen Cobra - hard to find and rare - but the best of both worlds in my opinion. If I cant pull off finding a used one - I may order one. If not - I'm going to get one of the sonic blue ones - I love that color.

a 2003 Saleen/cobra is going to be very expensive. Easily 60k, maybe more but if you want something rare than go for it. But I would just get the cobra and use the 30k on mods

You would be suprised how well the cobra actually handles. From what I have seen, Saleen only puts on springs and maybe cc plates or some strut bars. They really don't mess with the 03cobra's suspension that much. Its because of how well the 03 is already set up. If you want handling, than you are MUCH better off buying the 03 and putting some Maximum Motorsports or Griggs stuff on it.

I was at Ford the other day and all i saw were 04' Cobras and Mach 1's, the red 04' Ann. Cobra looks so good. mmmmm

the 03 Saleen Cobra is available for much less than 60k - I found a used one in the low 40's with 2k miles and that's the one i plan on buying if its still around (it has been for sale for 5 months so I suspect it will be). If you get brand new its in the low 50's for a coupe. I've already been talking with dealerships about it. I like the exclusivity and looks of the Saleen but want the power of the Cobra that the Saleen SC S281 doesn't have. Its also a very rare car, like 1 of very few.....so yeah I do like the rarity factor.
