Has anyone actually ever bought a vehicle for the advertised price at Brandon Ford?
I keep seeing all the ads on the back of the sports page for Brandon Ford. 03 Cobras for $29550 and Crew Cab Lariats for $24900.
So anyway, a buddy at work pulls up in an 03 Crew Cab F150 XLT he bought at Brandon Ford. I ask him what he gave for it, and he says $25500. When I told him that they advertise the same truck one level nicer (the Lariat) for less than that. He laughs and says they told him that truck was sold.
Did he get screwed?

If the ads talk about a specific vehicle then those are called "Loss Leaders".... most retailers (cars or otherwise) use them. They're used to get the customers in the door.. sure they might lose money on that ONE sale.. but they'll more than likely make up for it on the sale of vehicles to people that came in to buy that ONE vehicle.

I hate those bastards and swore I would never buy anything from them but guess where I bought my Lincoln from a few months ago ?
I got it well below sticker granted it was used but I beat them down and honestly think they just wanted me the hell out of there after tying the car up for 8 days.

I was just there the other day, I have never seen so many 03/04 cobras on one lot. But beware, next time you are there. Walk behind all the vert cobras and check out that craftsmanship on the rear seats. Everyone of them has insulation showing and I am not just talking about a little bit. They solidly overlooked something at Q&A.
