anyone know how, ??? i took all the bolts off but now it wont come out, i think the shifter rail thing is the olnly thing holding it on (not sure) but i don't see a way to get it off..............

Make sure the speedo gear is unhooked. To take the rail off you have to go to the top of the tranny where the ball of the shifter goes into the rail. You're going to see a small hole. There is a little shaft in that hole that needs to be punched out. Its hard to explain but I have done it before.

 

i know what youre talking about..... i just wanted to make sure i had to take that out before i started tearing shit apart..........
