problems lauchin
ok i have a 94 cobra with full exhaust a 373 gear 190 fuel pump 76mm mass air a 70mm tb with nitto dr so me and my friends are foolin around so i tried to launch at 3 and it dead hooked and then boged and the samething happend all the way to 5g it hit hard then boged so i go back to stock mass and it still the same luanches hard but has no balls to keep goin i mean i launched at 5g and it went down to 2500 thats with a skilled driver behind the wheel (mod matt) man this is killin me

Yea, tire pressure makes a significant difference like slobra said, i put mine down from 35 to 28 in the back and it hardly spins the tires from 15 mph anymore.
Did you change out your mass air meter because you were getting too much traction? Doesn't make sense to me.

im runnin about 20 psi and i changed out the mass thinkn it was takin power away cuz when i bought it i was told it was calib to 24 lb injectors but a friend doesnt think so so i went back to stock and noticed a lil gain and i insatlled a nos kit sun a 150 wet plate and i hit it out the hole and still the same problem i know it makes good torque with the 150 shot unless i have like 50 ftlbs of torque ion the motor alone which i doubt ill try raising the tire psi also a friend has a 90 hatchlx with same setup and he can launch at 4500 and he spins on nitto dr if he sides step the clutch but he also hooks

15 psi and start at 2500 and up it 100 rpms at a time till you find that sweet spott,just keep screwing with it youll get it.oh and spinning is ok as long as it moves the car.1.72 60'ft spinning nittos.later

seriously: you sure you do not have a ignition problem???
i have never heard of someone leaving at 4500rpm with a 150 shot boggin using only nittos...........
you must have like 20 inch wide nittos or some type of problem with the motor..........
