This is a make up date. Not a new date. You should have already been ready. Those that planned on going to the one that was just rained out dont need two more months to get ready. I think it should be as early as posible. There will be more track days to come if you weren`t ready for this one. This is why i pay at the gate. something happens and next thing you know people who didnt even plan on going to the rained out one are pushing for having it way down the road. If you are not ready to run your car now you shouldnt vote. I could be wrong but i would assume that those that were ready to run last sat would like to get this thing on asap. I will stop here because i am rambling on.

I voted for Friday, and i was already over the bridge heading to the track when i called and got the news. and i have 4 people following me.

People who prepayed should want this event as quickly as possible.
I know I do.I want to get out there and race already, I have been ready for to long now.
So for all u damn straggeleres ,tough shit, you guys had plenty of damn time to get ready, you'd give the same excuse twice if they gave u a chance....

I dont care what date..its plenty of time to get my schedule in line. I mean if you work..tell em you need to get off a little early..you have two weeks notice..rite?? Sept 12th it is.. and if it rains we have the october dates..

Scott, I think this has gotten really out of control. As fare and impartial I am to everyone, I dido the coments from Goopster1. However, because this event was initially intended for a Saturday night, I truely believe that those folks that prepaid /or at the track, should be given the opportunity to ask for a refund if they believe they will not be able to make the Friday event on time. As for the rest of you, you better be happy you were given a second chance to meet with the asphalt.

The poll has ended at the date will be Sept. 12 from 7:00 to midnight with the gates opening at 6:00 p.m..
Please read the following about getting in to the new event date:
1. If you were on the other pre-paid list (see this forum for list) you are all set to race.
2. If you paid at the gate before the rain you NEED TO PM ME RIGHT NOW so I can verify your payment with the tech cards from the track.
3. If you paid as a spectator at the gate you are all set and need that ticket stub to get back in. PM me if you lost it.
4. If you want to pre-pay for the new date do it before SEPTEMBER 9th. I am cutting it off at 70 - 75 cars so it is your choice if you want to risk paying at the gate.
Just a little FYI for everyone. I PM'd all of the people that pre-paid for the first event to get there reaction since this poll got so big. The winner again was the Friday, Sept 12 date. (I have all the PM's if you would like them.) Not that this would have changed the poll if it was different, but I wanted to make sure everything was fair.
As mentioned you have 3 weeks to plan for this. So you have plenty of time to get off of work a hour early to get to the track if you need it. Just remember we are going to midnight so you will have plenty of time to get there and make tons of runs if you don't get out of work early.
Personally I voted for the later date mainly for weather reasons. But look at it this way, if we get rained out again (please God no ) you already know what the make-up date will be. 
This make up date stuff has been a nightmare for me since I try to be fair to everyone and this seemed to be the best way to do it so hopefully everyone feels the same.
There was a lot of hype building up to the last date, hopefully it will be the same for this one. So make your plans (again ) and get ready to rumble on Friday, September 12 !
