I'd definately pimp that. Hopefully Mazda doesn't drop the ball and put the shitbox 2.0l that is in the Protege. This little car would kickass with the 3.0l V6 from the Mazda 6...but more than likely I'm thinking it will get the new 2.3l Duratec, which is a pretty decent motor.
How much is this new car supposed to weigh? Looks like it may come in around the same weight as a ZX5.

Subtract the following and I would be interested:
1. 2 doors
2. "Altezzas"
3. any Ford involvement with the engine/transmission/electrical system
4. that goofy huge Mazda badge on the back...looks like some redneck's belt buckle

I heard they are putting a CRX motor in it.
