He didn't dump the clutch, he just stabbed it from a 45 mph roll on 315 Nitto drag radials. He posts on modularfords.com quite often.

i think i know what that sounds like

and 45...more like 35mph 2nd gear pop the clutch spins for like 2sec then hooks at the top of 2nd and he gets out of it for cars doing 35.

and the damn thing sounds like the RC cars i raced as a kid.

I did watch it, didn't seem like he dropped the clutch. Oh well, it still puts down 600+ to the wheels on pump gas.

Nah no track times yet. He does live in South Florida though. I think he needs to take a roadtrip up here for a weekend.

 

If the owner is in Orlando, then I know who it is (on-line at least) and that is one fast beast. Runs in the 11's no problem.

I just think the video isn't enough to ride the guys dick about like some of you. He may be nasty but that video doesn't really prove it. The wine sounds awsome though.

Hey guys. I just found this place from another post somewhere. I made that video. We were going 40-45 mph. That's not poping the clutch either. He has a lot of suspension mods and has Nitto drag radials, which aren't easy to break loose. Let alone do it at 40--45 mph.

I will say this however, the car is making 565 rwhp. It's his car, so I put the number he told me to put in that video. The place he had it dyno'ed told him the car would make +50 hp difference on a Dynojet dyno. I didn't believe it, so I had my car dyno'ed on both dyno's all within 1 hour time. It was a difference of 15 rwhp.

As for the sound dig... A 4 banger with fart cans sounds better, right? So I take it if you had the money, you wouldn't get it because of the sound, right? LOL
