Ok, so im looking through MM&FF from a few months back and see this article on porting the 2v upper intake and it giving 10hp and 14ft lbs...soooo...i pulled out my new 1/4" collet dremel with flex shaft and foot pedal speed control and decide to pull mine off and have some fun. well, after like 8 hours of playing (and 1/2 hour of my wife yelling about the mess i'm making on the dining room table ) I put the intake back on the car and WOW!

I have to be honest, i really wasnt expecting much, but i can feel a definite difference, especially as the revs get higher. The best part is i really wasn't finished, just got tired of the noise (from the grinder, not my wife) so i did a rough polish and put it back on the car.

Also, I would really like to see some dyno numbers on it...and since there is no shop with a dyno up here I would be willing to do one for free just to see the fruits of my labor. (and i have an extra so there would be no down time (except for the 15 minutes it takes to install).

Glad to hear your intake came out ok. We've (TR people) seen some heads on here that looked like they were ported with dynamite before.

I try not to believe too much of what I read in MM and FF anymore....a lot of BS in that mag - but I don't see why this wouldn't make more power.....

im going to open this side up a lot more where the air turns down...it seems a little too shrouded to me...
