Default Tires?

Hey guys, I just got a 96 Cobra and it's going to need tires soon. What are some good tires that aren't too expensive? Just wondering what some of you guys would reccomend. (245/45/17)
Thanks.

Joe

Kumho's.

You can get them from Tirerack.com. Last time I bought them they were like $80 a piece, which is cheap as hell for 17's and they're a decent tire.

*Edit - Here ya go

I'll have to go with the Kuhmo's as well. The last set of tires I put on my Mustang before I sold it were the Kuhmo 711's. They were dirt cheap and actually had fairly decent traction.

Falken also makes some decent, inexpensive tires.

pep boy futura tires r pretty damn good, too, but they are right at 100 bucks. I have 245/50/16s on mine (futura gtx II) and they were under 100.

i think the kumhoes suck ass, they are cheap but do not grip worth a shit. IMO

i'd also go with a 275 on the rears, more bite.........
