I have thought about this and found out that the remote control airplane engines would work much better than their bilge pumps, last longer, and use less electricity. But as for a HP difference I'm not sure. I bought the electric fan that should work. I'm just figuring out what kind of relay I would need to turn the 12 volt fan on at either WOT or a certain RPM. IF anything I bet it gives you a little better gas mileage from the "swirl" effect of the fan =P I'm no tseriously interested in it just thought hey for 20$ if it works it works, if it don't then I'll tell everyone but that's a side project that I haven't worked on or thought about in months lol

None of these things are capable of compressing air at all. They may be able to move "780 cfm" but the key word is MOVE, they can't build any sort of pressure. The general consensus is that they just get in the way of airflow and actually take away some hp.
It gives you nothing.......Use it to hold against your face to cool you off on a hot day. Exactly what Jordan said, they can move 780 cfm. But move 780 cfm that is already moving. They can't create atmosphere. Stupid little gimmicks.

They do make ones that would work, but you would need to run like 8 batteries and dual 140 amp alternators to power them. We had a guy the shop buy a decent one for like $1500. It was supposed to make like 4# on a motorcycle or metro engine. But he was sticking it on a 383 vette. Well we installed it anyway. much to our surprised it didnt work

TKTurbos has finally received the patent pending on the incredible electric supercharger that took 26 years to develop. This is a 45LB billet aluminum 18HP electric supercharger that will revolutionize the industry. The pre-production models are being CNC-machined at this time, and full production will start in the Summer/Fall. Added 100 HP to the test vehicle with the push of a button. Are you ready for this?
Found a post in his forum:
THE ELECTRIC UNIT I HAVE PATENT PENDING IS AN ELECTRICAL REPLACEMENT FOR NOS. IT USES 15,000 WATTS TO TURN IT AND PRODUCE 5-12 PSI BOOST--DEPENDING ON ENGINE SIZE. IT CAN MAKE 10-15 RUNS LASTING 12-15 SECONDS ON A FULL BATTERY CHARGE, SO IT IS SIMILAR TO NOS IN THAT YOU RECHARGE THE BATTERIES--BUT AT PENNIES A RECHARGE INSTEAD OF $45/BOTTLE
I think all the added weight between the s/c and battery/batteries wouldn't be worth the effort you'd have to upgrade your alternator too I would assume lol.
