Mod motor question ?
While trying to fix the exhaust leak on Zate's manifold to pro-chamber connection (passenger side) I found there was no gasket and therefore could not tighten it enough to make the sound go completely away. Is this how they do it on the newer cars ? No gasket ?
Because the drivers side fits completely different and has no place for a exhaust gasket.
Felt bad I could not get the sound to go completely away for Zate after sitting here for a while and entertaining my kidos. To my defense I was not the original installer.

yeah.. i am thinking whyen we did the original install.. we didnt tighten it enough.. when it got to scotts.. one side nut was only just on the thread..
and i think the "vibration" noise under deceleration is part of the gasket caught in the pipe some where..
when you get me a gasket scott.. we'll have another go.. remove it completely this time.. and re-put it on.. if thats cool .. maybe i can get the use of Sams lift or something.
