Back in a Fox Body

I've missed having a Mustang, especially my 93 Cobra. I was thinking about one when a friend told me about a Saleen that his buddy was thinking about selling. I went and checked it out. Decided I needed it. 15k original miles. Purchased used in 94. Same owner for 20 years. It was put together 12 years ago at a shop out here in NM called Dyno Edge. Stock bottom end with an e cam, Edelbrock heads and a Novi 2000. I've got about 12k in receipts minus the Novi. Dynoes 494 and ran an 11.79 out here in Albuquerque @5000 feet. It runs great, super tight feeling. Handles much better than my stock 30k mile 93 Cobra. Looking forward to bringing the car to its new home in Florida soon. The only thing I'm going to do to it is have a boost ready 331 short block built. I'd like to make at least what it makes now on pump instead of the VP 110 the car currently uses.

PO also owns this. He said at almost 70 one had to go.

Your coming back to Florida?!?! Are you going to settle back in the same area or some place new?? The new car is beautiful... I still have your old 93 on my computer. I have it on my background images... Still wish I had the money back in the day... it would have looked great next to my other black hatch!!!

Can't wait to get this car down to sea level. 7200' elevation sucks. It idles better when it warms up. I do like the e303 cam.

We all have one of those cars, where we wished we never sold it. However, selling one, makes room for another!

I'm still around, but the life has changed a lot. I have two kids now and I spend my time with them, rather than the cars. Hopefully when they grown up, we can enjoy car things together.
