Default DrDrit Info from his wife Tammy :( said day for TR

On Thrusday Morning between 5:30 AM and 7:30 AM Tony Barnes AKA DrDrit lost his battle to cancer. Tammy said he passed during his sleep peacefully in no pain.
I talked to tony not long ago and me wanted to thank every one for the help on his car and the well wishes. Tony said he was honored to have his TR help him. Tony said this to me crying and was truely heart felt.

Tammy is planning a memorial for Tony and when she gets it set up I will post. Tammy has also said it will be ok to call or text her at 727-480-0755
If you need to contact for any reason call 352-461-7544 Spencer

RIP Tony Barnes AKA DrDrit

This hurts my heart. I remember meeting him over a decade ago at Gandy and his witty sense of humor and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on me. RIP Tony.

Godspeed, Tony... A true enthusiast of the sport, and one hell of guy to have had the pleasure to meet.

One of the first Badrap guys I met back in '99 or 2000 in a parking lot off of Dale Mabry and later on the bridge. I've bought parts from him and in the past year or so my son has grown up and bought parts off of him.

I just pulled up and started talking to him. He was cool as heck, really good guy even though he had never met me. Every time I've bumped into him since he was just a great guy and treated me like an old friend. Tampa racing has lost a class act. Proof that there is racing in heaven.
