Ok people...Just because a part worked "good" on your car 5 or 6 months ago, or was "rebuilt" (by YOU) 6 months ago, does NOT mean it will run good or even remotly CLOSE to "good" on MY car, now.

I rebuilt the carb on my car 6 monmths ago...Anyone interested in buying it? I mean, it's a Holly 750. The fact that it's sat on my SHELF (after running it on my car) for the last 6 months is irrelevant.

It's sarcasm. Yeah, I bought a carb that someone said "worked fine when it was removed (a few months ago) and was rebuilt shortly before it was removed. Yeah, I put it on, and it runs like shit and the floats are fucked up and blah blah blah. It's frustrating, but expected.

If the price was right, I would sell my Holley 3310(which needs a rebuild), but not the 650 double pumper I have right now. (which also needs a rebuild)

It's not the one I got from you. A different one from someone else. I'm just gonna rebuild it and be done. I was simply frustrated is all. Hours of chasing down a problem will do that to you. We're good.

A Holley that has fuel in it (used) and taken off and let sit, is ga-ron-teed to need a rebuilt, tha's a given!!

 

who did you get the carb from because there are a few con artists on here who love to sell garbage. i know a guy whose cam got wiped and he bought one from an "honest, good guy" who told him it was some type of stage 2 cam and it was actually a very used stock cam that was in not so great shape. when he asked the guy what the deal was the guy got all pissy and hung up on him. assholes are every where the bad news is they look just like the rest of us
