Default Car Shipping

Sold a car via e-bay. The guy wants to see if anyone local will ship. Nationally I've found pricing somewhere between $650 - $800 . Anyone know of someone or a company they trust?

Check with AutoTrain Amtrak. They only load/unload at certain terminals. Closest place to Tampa is Orlando terminal. My cuz checked into shipping his Supra down from MD, it was like $300

I drove out to Ohio, Picked up Jeff at the airport and trailered his car back for $750. But that was when gas was only $2.59 gal. National average is $3.11 right now. That will add to the over all cost.
For trips like that I base everything on mileage. I need to cover fuel costs and keep a little bit to help me stay awake.

I routinely pick up and deliver cars to and from Md, PA and NY.
Depending how soon he needs this one done I may need to pass. My truck goes in the body shop tomorrow and is supposed to be 8 days before its finished.
Lady pulled out in front of me on US 19. 5200lb 2004 Chevy Silverado 1, 3400lb 2008 Toyota Camry 0.

Its still a hassle... My buddy lives in Laurel,MD and he would have to take his car to VA (forgot where) to put it on the train to get it here, and I'd have to go to Orlando to pick it up. Cheap? A lot of PITA too.

Tell the guy to pay the deposit. It's his responsibility to find a shipper.

Agreed. When I sold my Shelby years ago. A guy from Maine bought the car sight unseen and had a transport carrier at my father inlaws place 4 days later.
