Wheels
Been looking through sites for wheels for my 93 GT. I originally wanted to do some 17x9's up front and 17x10.5's out back. But I'm running coil overs front and rear and its just not feasible. Would need a spacer up front with 9inch wheels to keep the tires from rubbing on the coil overs,.. so going to cut down to an 8 inch wide wheel up front. I can make 10.5 wheels work out back but again,.. with the springs on the coil overs so close to the wheel well,.. its not feasible with a 315 tire back there and I think a 275 tire looks ridiculous on a 10.5 wheels.
I did some research and found that I can run an 18x10 wheel in the back with a 285/35 tire and it will clear the coil overs and still tuck inside the fender with minimal effort.
So I'm looking at 18x8 wheels up front on 255/35 tires and 18x10 out back on 285/35 tires.
I'm still undecided on which wheels.
My wife likes these first couple wheels and more than likely one of these will end up on the car. But I'm whimsical and will change my mind 100 times between now and when the car goes in for paint and body work.

.
My wife likes those,.. and depending how it gets painted will determine if I do the black inserts or not.
I'm also considering some of these wheels as well.

These will be going on my 93 GT.
Let me know what you guys think?

Should add - I don't like that flat lip on any of them actually. Guess I'm a little old school

I'm with my wife and Jeff,.. I like the first 2 sets, particularly the AZA wheel. They look kinda like CCW's but at 25% of the cost. I can get a set of 4 for $635. 18x8.5 up front and 18x10 out back. Where CCW's are $625 a wheel.
The 5th ones are called TSW Indy 500's.
I found some nice pics showing them on a coupe.

.
I think they would look sweet on my GT. But the CCW lookalikes are really growing on me.

Thats exactly what my wife will be doing with the car. She ran her Cobra in the Chin events and open track days at Sebring and a few times up at Road Atlanta. I dont know if I can get my car to handle as good as her Cobra,.. but it will be close.
I just want to be able to drive my car again. I miss rowing the gears and feeling my eye balls vibrate in their sockets from the exhaust resonating.
I saw those BBS wheels. Nice,.. but didnt really do it for me.
