mlx50man.....
Its not that I'm always right, I'm 99% right when ever I am pushing an issue. If ever I am unsure I'll let it go. I hate making an ass out of myself and I hate apologizing for being an ass when I was wrong even more. I cant stand arguing with St Pete Chad. No matter what you explain to the guy he is either incapable or unwilling to see things other than how he perceives the world to be. So usually I just say ok,.. you win,.. heres your cookie and I drop it.
With this mlx50man (kid) at first I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. My ex-wife's uncles car made almost 500hp but that was 20 years ago. I'm thinking wow,. 600 NA out of a 289. This I gotta see. But then I saw flat tops and no head work? I had my doubts. But I wasnt going to argue my point because there was still the chance I could be wrong. But he posted the Lingenfelter dyno I literally put my hand to my face. I told my wife,.. this guy cant be this stupid. Not only was the graph entirely wrong for a motor as small as a 289,.. it was by a company who's founder and name sake is adamantly anti-Ford. I knew at that point I was 99.9% right and I pushed the issue to see if he would crack or make a mistake. I knew I had to find the original dyno sheet before I could drive my point home and shut him up for good. I told him too,.. I'm very good at finding things on the net. If its there I can find it.
Just before I found it he was questioning what I had said about my ex-wife's uncles motor. Basically called me a liar trying to put pressure on me to take the focus off of him. Then when I found it. I knew he might start deleting shit after I put him in his place so I took his dyno sheet from his photobucket and put a copy in my photobucket and logged his final posts in the thread to a text file so I could reference it back. Then when I posted the dyno sheet in his thread,.. sure enough. Not 10 mins later he deleted his thread. So I created my thread and tried to make him feel like an ass as best I could. Fact is he could probably give 2 shits. He probably still has his ricer buddy's on convinced he has a 600hp 289. They are as dumb as he is.

Then the flat tops and the story with big compression #'s with stock CC heads, I could of cared less about a dyno chart. I new he was full of crap... Been around cars tooo long to b bluffed like that. That motor set up would of been doing good to make 300.
