Just like the mod motor? They developed that for a car motor, then didn't have anything to put in trucks, so they stuck it in there. There sure as hell wasn't alot of development there.

I'm not saying it definitely won't work. But before they get $40k+ of my money (if it ever even happens), I'll want to see how it holds up to towing a real load.

Trust me, I'd love a truck that can get 20mpg in daily driving and still be able to hook up a big trailer.

jeesus, are you people dense, or just like to argue? Diesels also have 18:1 compression, run over 30lbs of boost, and don't have spark plugs or a throttle body. Should I do that to the 4.3 in my S10?

Diesels are built differently. They are designed to run under boost constantly. I don't know if we ca say the same about the ecoboost, but I somehow doubt it.

I think it has more to do with that fact that he had to repeat himself. Nothing personal Tommy,.. but your unwillingness to read through a thread or lengthy post has left you with out the entire conversation.

I've had to repeat myself several times when posting here just to get a point across to you because you neglected to read everything I said.

I'm not trying to bust your balls or anything. But I can see where it gets frustrating sometimes. At least for me it does.

Guess you need to read it. A properly sized turbo will be into boost, no matter what its on.
Maybe you should read some more on topics before you respond, you post a lot of false info...no busting your balls.

I guess I was a bit too harsh, but it wasn't the first time I've had to answer that question in this thread, and honestly, it shouldn't need to be answered at all. I think it's pretty obvious that a diesel is built VERY differently than a gas engine.

Whats false about stating something that frustrates me and possibly someone else? I've read this thread from the beginning. If you had you would not have repeated something that was already stated and then turned it into a question.

You busting balls? I would never envision any hostility or sarcasm from you. (That was a sarcastic remark )
Well then Tommy, pull up a single thread where I posted any false info. And if it was not correct, where I didnt correct myself or acknowledge that I made a mistake.

If I have it shouldnt hard to find. I post on as much as I can.
Show me a single one. If I posted false info then I'd like to correct it.
