I like it. If my m112 ever gets replaced by a whipple or other compressor,
I know where the m112 will end up.

Its a hack job,. but it works. I think the ingenuity alone deserves a lot of credit. Thats something I would try to do if I ever get my hands on one of those things. I thought it was cool as hell.
I mean did some crap back in the 80's and early 90's that would make guys today shake their heads.
I took an 83 Camaro Berlinetta, yanked the tired 305 and popped a 1975 Pontiac 455 and a uni bell TH400 in it. The mid 70's 455 had a CR of something ridiculous like 8.0:1. I took 2 different turbo's, 1 from an 84 Lebaron with the turbo 2.2 and one from 85 Laser with 2.2 turbo. The Camaro looked like crap,.. but ran 12's down the track through a non posi rear. I dont think I had more than $700 in everything that that included the cost of the car. Thats the kind of neat crap I like to read about. The crazy different hack jobs.

We all had to start somewhere and learn from our many advetures. One of the first real "projects" I did was a V8 conversion in an '88 LX Hatch from a 4cyl. aod to a '78 302 with a 4-speed manual. At that time (1995) age 19, I didn't really know the differences (HO vs Non-HO) so for $100 bucks I ended up with a pretty anemic 302 and a lousy shifting 4-speed. But I drove the hell out of it till it dropped a valve and cracked the block. Didn't owe me a dime but the learning experience was worth a whole lot more than that initial hundred bucks.
Cool idea. Shitty welding though.
My buddy built a junkyard turboed 302 that ran like a raped ape! Turbo's came off the Turbo-4 Cougar's (XR4?). Either way it was cool as shit and fast as fuck.
It's always cool to see some of the odd shit that's built from junkyard's. One man's junk is another man's treasure.
