Adam, Dude, it was great that you offered my kid a job....However...you could have at least had the cahones to call her to tell her it was actually given to a transfer person instead of her. She's not upset that she didn't get the job....and I'm not either. I'm a little pissed that you neglected to call her to tell her that she shouldn't wait for the job.
I told her time and time again, that she can't wait for anyone else to actually do their job. Fortunatly, this time, it only cost her a week of no work.
Had you called her back when you found out (She went to the boss and he said you were supposed to call her last week) she could have been out looking for a job somewhere else. She's got bills to pay too you know.
It's done with now, but man....When you find things like this out, CALL THE PERSON!

Negative, and negative.
1. he couldn't grace my daughter with a phone call. Which, by the way, his boss said was HIS JOB to do.
2. His boss said he still works there.
It certainly appears that he screwed up, plain and simple. I would be interested to know if there was an issue which prevented him from performing this simple part of his job though. If so, I'm not totally an a-hole and forgive easily. However, this seems (<---see that word right there?) like a clear case of not doing one's job. If that's the case, own it and I'll move on.
