Ford Tech boats
Post up pictures of your boat past or present.
This is my 1989 Mako 17 with a 115 E-tec. Sort of a jack of all trades, master of none.

Never owned a boat.
Closest I ever came was my father inlaw bought a 24' Chris Craft that had a Ford 351 Marine motor in it. The final drive on the inboard/board needed some work. He got it fixed,.. had the thing for almost a year and it never saw water. Sold it.
I'm of the opinion that its better to have a friend with a boat than to own one yourself.
Nice boats BTW,.. I think one day I might get a boat just to see what its like. But for now I'll stick with the poor mans toys.

Nice Hewes, I have had new-boat-itis for years and really want a flats boat for fishing docks at night. Seems the oil spill thing and economy situation keeps me in my beater.

I took off a '89 115 Yamaha carb'd 2 stroke for the e-tec. Same speed, much better fuel milage than before, hardly any oil consumption and super quiet for a 2 stroke.
But, those HPDI Yamaha engines are legendary. Plus they sound like a V6 outboard should.
