Default What do you do?

Ok,
So most of you know that my wife and I lead a....different....lifestyle. Right? Anyway, I've never done much in Tampa for "fun" on the inexpensive. So, my question is this:

If you were to go on a date, and wanted to have loads of fun, but spend the least amount of cash possible, what would you do and where?

Leave out the sex parts and stay at home crap. I'm being serious. We have found another cpl that we have known for a long time, and have dated off and on for a long time now....but we really only just go to Busch Gardens (too hot now), go kayaking (again, too hot now), and go to one of our houses for some...fun. LOL So what else is there for cheap? Ok, maybe not free...but inexpensive. We went to a movie this last weekend. Had a good time. Now what? Thanks in advance for keeping it clean and responding like adults and not 15 year olds.

We like to catch a matinee at the theater,.. we check the start and end times so when one lets out we can sneak in to catch another movie. My wife brings her big bag that we bring our own drinks and snacks with us. Pretty cheap date there.

We like the beach. My wife used to work security for Disney and saved some guys kids life so she has free life time passes to any disney theme park. When its hot like this,.. Typhoon Lagoon is nice. Just relaxing and floating around in the lost river.

We sometimes take our bikes and ride the various bike trails in the area. Can go from Tarpon to the other side of St Pete on a scenic bike route. It follows an old rail line for the most part.

Then just staying home and watching movies snuggling on the couch when its too hot to go anywhere. For the last month we've had a great time working on our son's car. Its surprising how much you can get done on a minimal budget. The entire body work and paint was done for under $350. I'll have pics up by Weds/Thurs at the latest. Looks as good as any show car out there. Working on the interior and fixing some minor issues that we discovered along the way. My wife and I are almost depressed that we're almost finished. A lot of hard work,.. but was fun and now that we know we can do it,.. we arent as afraid to tackle it again if the need comes up.

Hey Jim, Yeah...We just went to the movies this weekend. We would like to change it up a bit next weekend.

My bicycle just got stolen, so thats out. LOL

I don't have a pass to Disney. I wish I did, but ....I'm not as good at saving ppls lives. LOL Got a pass to Busch Gardens, buuuut....no floating rivers or ponds there, and the river rapids ride is closed for maintenance last time we were there. (the line for that ride is insane anyway in the summer)

The beach sounds good, but it would have to be at a river, because the water in the gulf is too hot right now...And in a river, you gotta look out for gators, so no swimming. Fudge....Guess it's the gulf after all. Also, have you SEEN how white I am? I don't mix well with the sun.

You wouldn't want to sit in our house for long. Our four dogs kinda kill the snuggling thing pretty quickly. Plus, our house is a MESS since we closed my karate school. All my equipment is in the front room cuz I can't afford storage. Not to mention our kayaks cuz I don't want THEM to get stolen too. .

But THANK YOU for the response! (And for keeping it mature.)

LOL Trust me...I would, but the women don't like to fish. At least OURS don't.

I WAS scheduling an outing on the ropes course at the YMCA up in New Port Richey, but when I presented the idea to my GF, she was like "Noooo...I did it before, and the way you're skurd of Shiekra....Thats how I feel towards the ropes course." LOL So....moving on to something else.

Channelside. Sorta the same thing you're talking about happened this week with Nicole and I. We hit the Imax up stairs, seen a movie with our freinds. Went down to Wet Willies and had a couple nice drinks (It gets a little loud but I gaurentee its like no other place you have been). Go hit Stumps for a bite to eat then, come 12:30 we walk 20 yards to The Lounge and sit and chill with a couple more drinks and talk. We were out til 4 AM this Saturday. Had a great time though!!

All in all, I spent (on the two of us, not four of us) $20 at Willies, $22 at the Imax, $20 at Stumps and 7.98 at The Lounge. Bring $100 and you're set for the night. Unless you tip majorly high...

Hope this helps a little. Only payed $3 for parking as well...
