Lesner 1st round knockout
my point is hes a street fighter and more of a boxer then a MMA fighter and even with all the help he got he was still not able to fight good in the MMA because all he knew what to do was punch and when a MMA fighter fights a boxer.the boxer wont know what to do when hes taken down to the mat and wont be able to throw a punch when some one put his ass in a arm bar or picks him up and drops him on his head or trys to choke his ass out.you cant compare a MMA fighter VS a boxer to many things for a boxer to remember
did you watch this last fight? I mean a vet in MMA was knocked down with a punch, and then got 30 more put on him? Carwin wore HIMSELF out. A good boxer wouldnt a shot his load like that
yea i seen the fight and yea he blew his load early but a boxer could not sit back and pick his spots because he was to worry about being taken to the ground.kicked in the face.tight kicks which i put money on it would fuck a boxer up because most have small ass legs like kimbo and that why matt fucked up kimbo and he could not even fight back.also if a MMA fighrt was to charge a boxer throw him on the ground and start to beat on his face the boxer would not know what to do
who are you saying is a vet? i hope you are not saying brock is a vet in the MMA cause hes not.hell he only has 6 fights

yea he a bad bitch but let brock get back into shape and work on a few things then we will see.you got to remember brock lost 45 pounds when he was sick and didnt train much.im sure they will have a rematch
If Carwin can get his stamina up to last all three rounds, then he can beat Brock. Otherwise, we're in for another quick match. I've never seen Brock get all bloodied up like that before. That was AWESOME! He looks much better with blood all over and a fat lip.
As for a boxer vs. mma fighter......Well, this has been done time and time again. If you pit a stand up fighter of ANY kind...karate, tae kwon do, boxer, krav maga, ANY kind.....against a decent grappler, the stand up guy usually looses. Case in point: Ron Van Clief vs. Royce Gracie. Classic fight when EVERYTHING was legal. Eye gouges, groin shots, EVERYTHING was legal. This was when it was a "real" fight without any rules. Royce gracie beat RVC pretty quickly by forcing the tap. Took the stand up MASTER down to the ground and out of his element. Granted, VC was like 50+ when he took the fight. But he should have been able to do more than he did. The result? RVC has been training in BJJ ever since, so he can add it to his arsenal. I realized about a year and a half ago that I needed ground work. So, I started doing ground work. Now, I compete in amateur MMA events every now and then. (Up in Louisiana and Alabama) But my point is that a determined grappler WILL take a striker down, and pwn them on the ground.
They say he didn't train much...But thats a lie. I can tell just by his newly modified stance and how comfortable he was in it, that he trained a shit load for this fight.
