97 GT for a first car = best dad in the world!

Major bummer with the 1/4 dent.

He is still smiling from ear to ear. The way I look at it, gives him another reason to do well in school and not want to play in the streets. My Dad bought me a nice 66 when I was 14, and that kept me away from trouble

Keep an eye on his Homeroom/1st period tardies and how many days he's missed school. I was always a A-B student and never cut class a day in my life...but once I got my first car everything went downhill. Skipping school/classes became so easy, and after my grades dropped down to D's-F's I just stopped going to certain classes all together. The only class I would even show up for was weightlifting, and that was my last period of the day. Not saying your boy will do any of those things, just saying keep an eye out. I bought every car I've ever owned, but I know if my parents bought my first one and took it away from me cause of me slipping up in school, I most definitely would have went more often.

Looks good man. Wouldn't sweat the dent. X pipe and put some dumps on those mufflers. I didn't want dumps on my GT, but I am happy we did. Couldn't be more happy with it. Tell little D congrats.

X pipe ok, but no dumps on a street car, been that route too many times before
