the aluminum parts are bad ass but it might turn into a shelf queen with all that bling...
ive done whole aluminum thing and it may be bad ass but an rc car chassis needs a lil bit of flex to avoid parts from breaking.
as for the bandit vs a rustler, get another rustler.. bandits are a bit narrower and at high speeds a slight wheels correction will flip and barrel roll..

Ok... as mentioned before...I was shooting for MYSTIChrome look... First cut the front bumper and roll cage located on rear bed area with INDY SILVER. Then base color chosen was PURPLE CRUSH (which almost looks just like the SVT color) only I applied only 2-3 very light coats...Then backed it up with CANDY APPLE BLUE... Final backing color is metallic silver called INDY SILVER... End results came out to a baby blue cotton candy pearl... Next time I know now to go heavy on the PURPLE CRUSH and 1-2 coats on CANDY APPLE BLUE or none at all and finish withy INDY SILVER only... We will see next time... Not what I was shooting for but still very NICE in my opinion... what u guys think???

do you take you car to a track? if so go with the 1/8th scale. if you bash and track the car go with the slash 4x4..... but check out jammin scrt10 or the ofna sc10.. based on a 8 scale chassis but made for short course...
as for the revo 1/16 they are fun but they get old quick, too small of a car to handle high speeds and aggressive jumps
