Just wanted everyone to wish me luck. My Mustang, which has been notoriously fairly unreliable (only left me stranded once - thank you shredded belt...) is driving to Ginnie Springs tonight from my home in Largo. It's a 175 mile trip being taken at night/early morning, so traffic shouldn't be an issue thankfully. If anybody gets a call from me at 2am bitching about being stranded, consider helping me out!

 

Meh...what could possibly go wrong? You'll be ok. Leave the tools and spare at home so you can carry more beer.

 

Sounds good to me! Just picked up the bottle of Meyers a few minutes ago from the girlfriend's sister.

Did I mention I'm only staying there for less than 24 hours... Driving up tonight after band practice, driving back tomorrow evening because we play a show Saturday. Spontaneity FTW!

AAA? Who the hell has that? Not me! Just packed up the cooler. Staying for one night, my items are:

-One pair of clothes
-Toothbrush with travel size toothpaste (girlfriend added that one...)
-Can of Axe
-Cooler with:
-18 pack Bud Light
-Full handle of Meyers dark rum
-Extra cigarettes, of course

Oh, and I have AAA Plus. Free tow for up to 100 miles 3 times per year. Go to the track and break and have it towed home. LOL

Just got home. Ended up staying there an extra night. That place was fucking awesome! It was my first time going there, or camping at all for that matter. Nothing but a solid 18 hour long buzz, sex, swimming, and shit - I fed a damn horse. Heading back this summer definitely. Car did great to/from. No issues whatsoever.

 

Hopefully the good luck/carma holds over to me for next weekend. I'm driving the limo to Louisiana and back. And it's never been on a long trip with me yet. YIKES!
