What do you think?
Alright so I absolutely love mustangs and I will always love them, but recently I've really been thinking about getting into a pickup like an F-150 because I want something more spacious and can fit surfboards (or whatever) in the back.
I still owe about $9,500 on my mustang, I think I could get 10-11k if I sold it. A buddy of mine has an '05 or newer F-150 (not exactly sure) and wants to sell it for 11k. It's beautiful and lifted 3" on some good meaty tires (not sure of the size).
My first question:
1. How much did you regret selling your mustang when you did it?
2. Should I venture to do something like this?
3. How do I go about doing it? Can I sell it even though the bank holds the title?
4. Should I just suck it up and pay off the last 2 years of the car then sell it and use it as a down payment?
Let me know. I really want his truck.
I will get back into another mustang even if I buy the truck. I'd like to a build a fox eventually. For now though I feel like I should get something I can use a little more than just have for fun.

I sold my truck to buy my Mustang and pay back some dues I owed my mom. I love my Mustang to death, but I really miss that truck. Reliability, the fun, etc, etc. Not to metnion all the memories I made in that bitch haha.
I have had my Mustang since 97, and I thought about selling it when my wife got pregnant. Instead, she suggested I buy a 2nd car, so that is what we did. I know a few people who have sold their Mustangs and regretted it, but I have a buddy who got a BMW 335i, and he does not miss his Mustangs at all. I guess it just depends how attached you are. Mine spends more time in the garage than it does on the road for sure. My DD is more comfortable, gets good gas mileage, is easier to drive, and has plenty of power, but I don't think I could ever get rid of my Mustang.

^i've thought about getting a second car, but my thought process tells me to get the truck first and make the mustang the second car. as in, buy a nice truck and then get a fox that I can piece together as the money comes in.
i guess my main question here is can i sell the mustang even though i owe money on it? how does that work if the bank has my title?
