Stock Mark viii swap GT goes low 12s NA
so on december 20thi took the 4v to the track for the 2nd time. previous best was a 12.47@109 with 410s and some decent clutch slip
first pass with 456s i was able to pull a 12.30@111.9 and didnt notice any slip however i wasnt able to launch it straight for some reason. pulled a 1.67 60ft but i think she spun a little
2nd pass resulted in a 12.43@109 with the same exact 60ft and shifting, but slip in 2nd and 3rd
3rd and final pass was my best 60ft pulling a 1.622 60ft and getting a decent picture of just a hair of air under each front tire. sadly i was unable to best the 12.30 tho and ran a 12.33
a little disapointed as i was hoping for a 12.1-12.2 but the clutch is definitly hurting me and my control arm bushings are now tore to hell and back. they were already pretty bad but are completly destroyed now so im going to replace the cheap ass summit lowers with some quality upr double adjusatbles and after a little more wieght reduction hopefully an 11.99@112+ with a 1.5 60ft
i also havent yet powershifted it at the track since when i do it on the street i instantly smell clutch
