Be a baller and go right for the Programmable Digital 7 w/ Data Acquisition #75301. First and last box you will ever buy. It will work with what you have now and any upgrades you plan to do in the future.

what does that run for $$$$$$$$$$ working on fixed income. but its the last box I'd buy. that would make up for a little extra cash.

The carb MSD dizzy is well worth the cash, as for the EFI, well that is hit or miss, I went thru 3 of them each time MSD covered the replacment. Just buy new. And coil, schmoils, whatever, a auotparts house accel works fine.

carb'd distributor 289/302 with gear for roller cam = MSD # 8598

Any "standalone" box will work for you, just depends on your budget.
Different boxes take different coils. The digital 6/7 boxes require an expensive coil.

Considering your setup, I'd stick with something cheap like a 6A or 6AL, and I'd use a MSD Blaster SS PN 8207.

If you decide to do the digital route I've got a brand new Digital 6 Plus I'm selling.
