I checked his poo today and looks good. The dog has been eating all kinds of stuff lately though ( i think the worm rice looking stuff could have been these beads off of a chewed pillow I found). I am still gonna deworm. The flea tick treatment I use has a heartworm preventative in it so im good there. I dont do the whole vet thing man I know what kind of scams happen there. Im not paying for a visit, extra checks I dont need. I guess im kinda old school with animals but mine have allhad average lifespans.

On the cattle wormer I did it on big dogs I dont think I could dose it down small enough for roscoe. My wife is out getting something now from petsmart but it is hard to find stuff that gets tapeworms, hookworms, and whip worms.

I will keep you guys posted and I will even post a poo pic for you freaks if I see more suspects.

We've spent 200 bucks on our dog in medical since we got him back in the mid 90s.
He had kennel cough last year which is a respiratory infection that he caught from another dog that we gave him some medicine for. Never been on heartworm prevention or anything. Had him checked for that when he had kennel cough and after 12 years heart worm free.

He is also an inside dog so the risk of him getting heartworms is greatly reduced...

I am not giving a 5lb dog dip. I have heard it to work but I am not feeling like a mythbuster. I was wrong about petsmart. We found a dewormer for tape, hook, whip, and round worms. They used to not sell tape worm stuff. Got it taken care of tonight even though last stool was clean and am deworming my other small dog too. Thanks for all the words guys and I will let you know If I have any complications.

+1.......pet store stuff is a waste of time! Take it to the vet of have a hole ready if it has worms. A little dogs system will only last a few days beforeworms will kill it, if thats what it is.

Got it sorted and dont need a vet thanks. Lots of dogs get worms it is not that big a deal if caught early. Inside dogs except when they crap. Poop has been clean lol. I will keep watching. I know a lot about animals just needed to know what active ingredient was applicable for such a small pooch.
