I have been saying, "Bring back public hangings!" for years.
Mandatory veiwing. Hell put it on TV.
It think it makes a great deterient.
It sure as hell would cut down on "repeat offenders".
I can be a hard ass about this. I know it and am not ashamed about it.
I grew up in SC. My grandfather ran the Anderson County Farm until he died.. It used chain gang labor. 5 years hard labor aint no shit to take lightly. I grew up being there for weekends and such.
It could be a rough place sometimes.
It supported the county home (old folks home), kind of a county welfare, before the great "free" federal money got started.

I still have his Remington .30 cal M1 carbine. The National Gaurd issued him and all the gaurds them during the "race roits" of the 60's. (and about 1400 rounds of full metal jacket still in the boxes)

This kind of shit gets me hot as hell.
I had a really close cousin killed back in 88 over some BS and the hardest thing I ever did was not kill the fucks that did it. They did all rot in jail thank God.
Not enough law abiding citizens carry weapons. That is the problem.
If you knew walking into a store to rob it or someone, that when you turned to leave you would likely have 8 or so little black barrels looking you in the face.

This story is very old, and it did recieve some news coverage. Not a whole lot, but I think that was due to their beign more interesting and potentally rating-inflating stories in the news when it happened.
The chemicals in the mouth of the woman and such were not confirmed to be pre-mortem(sp?) last time I checked, several people thought it may have been dumped down her throat after she was dead to cover up DNA evidence, if you get my drift.
Anyhow, all of the 'suspects' deserve a torture the likes of which American prisons cannot give.

Anybody ever see the footage of what the father did of a boyscout who was molested on a camping trip by the troup master?
They caught the guy and were walking him thru the airport, all Oswald style, in a group of reportes and shit.
You are getting the footage from one of the film crews.
As they come by a long row of pay phones you see a couple people taliking on them, no big deal.
All of a sudden as they pass one guy on the phone, he just slightly turns, (never handing up the phone), lays his arm right over the marshals shoulder and puts a 38 to the guys temple.
