My brother races asphalt circle track at desoto speedway, this is his new ride, its not totally finished yet but we were pretty excited to fire it up and roll it out of the garage!!! A few stats, its a 1974 Challenger chassis, Demon 340CI engine, 3speed Torq-Flite 727 Trans. Ford 9" w/ 4.56's. The class(s) he runs in is whats called pure stock and bomber... even though w/ a few minor adjustments it can run with street stocks, we like to be ahead of field... Lol.
The few things left on it are a few more sheets of sheet metal, its hitting the paint booth, and getting the plexi put in the front and the duct work in it so the driver can have a lil air.

 

Drivers don't need air in real racing. In "real" racing, the race is over within 9-12 seconds. LOL

Naa guys, He bought this car a couple years ago. Im still waiting on Jo$h to come get his Challenger and pull my Belvedere out

Tim, he did the 1320 thang. Had a 1998 WS6 in the 11s with an automatic. But he prefers racing with 20-25 other people. The air duct is when you run 25+ lap in a triple layer fire suit with helmet and shit, it get sorta hot. Lol
